Preventive Dental Care

Robinson Dental Group is proud to offer many different preventive dental services, from dental sealants to custom mouthguards to deep cleanings and more. Our team wants to set you up for success as much as we possibly can, and utilizing our preventive dental services is one of the best ways to do that. If any of these treatments pique your interest, be sure to ask about them at your next appointment!

Cleaning

We recommend every patient schedule routine appointments with us at least twice per year, regardless of how well they take care of their teeth and gums at home. Professional cleanings help remove built-up plaque and tartar from hard-to-reach areas.

Exams

Dental exams are performed by experienced dental professionals who have many years of training and experience. Routine exams are essential for diagnosing and treating dental issues in a timely manner, especially underlying problems that have very few or no symptoms.

X-Rays

Digital X-rays help our team see what’s happening inside the teeth and jaw, allowing us to uncover new information that is invisible to the naked eye. Digital X-rays emit very little radiation and create high-quality images instantly.

Custom Mouthguards

We offer several kinds of oral appliances that are custom-made for each patient and serve different purposes. If you are involved in athletics, we can create a custom athletic mouthguard that will allow you to continue being active without worrying about dental trauma. We also offer custom nightguards for bruxism (teeth grinding and clenching). If you experience frequent headaches and jaw soreness or stiffness, our TMJ treatment options may be a good option for you. Simply wearing a custom mouthguard at night can make a huge difference in your day-to-day life.

Periodontal Treatment

If you are suffering from any level of gum disease, our team has the tools and expertise required to treat it and restore your gums. We offer scaling, root planing, and laser gum therapy to remove tartar buildup and smooth out the tooth roots. Once a periodontal cleaning is complete, we can apply a topic antibiotic called Arestin® to reduce the size and depth of the periodontal pockets. Arestin works slowly over time to fight off infection and heal the gums well after your appointment with us.
