If there are any flaws in your smile, whether it is chipped, crooked, or stained teeth, Robinson Dental Group can help. Anything that a patient wants to correct in their smile because it is not aesthetically pleasing can be addressed with a number of cosmetic dentistry procedures such as veneers, crowns or a combination of various techniques.
BOTOX® Cosmetic is a prescription medication injected into facial muscles to improve the look of moderate-to-severe crow’s feet lines at the corners of the eyes and frown lines between the brows.
Skin ages and wrinkles due to a number of factors, including cellular changes, collagen depletion, hormone loss, damage caused by free radicals – and muscle contractions. When you squint, frown or crease your brow as you concentrate, the muscles contract and cause your skin to furrow and fold. After years of these contractions, the wrinkles linger even when your face is relaxed.
When BOTOX® is used to block the nerve impulses to the injected muscles, the muscle activity that caused the persistent lines to form is reduced. Skin begins to relax and smooth out.
Administered by our dentists as a simple, nonsurgical treatment, BOTOX® blocks nerve impulses to the injected muscles, reducing muscle activity and smoothing out lines and wrinkles. With real, noticeable results, no surgery and no recovery time – and results that last as long as four months – it’s no wonder why BOTOX® has been chosen by millions of patients between 18 to 65 years of age and the dentists at Robinson Dental Group.

A crown or cap is a metal and/or porcelain covering that is placed over the tooth surface, restoring strength and appearance. Crowns are needed when a filling is not enough to give a tooth proper structure, to fix fractures or lend support for bridges. Crowns improve the appearance and structure of the tooth.
Crowns typically are completed in two appointments. Impressions are made and sent to a local laboratory to create the custom crown. A temporary crown is placed on the tooth to protect it while the new one is being made. When the new crown arrives, the patient returns for placement and fitting.
Porcelain veneers are a beautiful option for creating the smile you have always wanted. Veneers consist of very thin sheets of porcelain that are attached to the front of the teeth, improving shape, size and color.
On the first step of the process, the existing teeth are buffed and shaped and an impression is taken. The specific color that will be used is also chosen. On the second step, bonding adhesive will be used to attach the veneer to the teeth and a light beam will set the adhesive.
Over time with habits such as smoking, consumption of coffee and other dark beverages, and just normal wear and tear, teeth may lose their luster and begin to appear yellowed or stained. Whitening is an inexpensive and safe option to bring back their brightness. Whitening has become a very popular procedure for enhancing smiles.
Previously, silver or gold fillings were used, but now composite resins are used to match the color of the teeth. The fillings are used to fix teeth that have been damaged by decay and fractures. The affected portion of the tooth is removed and that portion is replaced with composite filling. White fillings are attractive since they match existing teeth and will last for years to come.
Fillings can be done during one appointment, and anesthesia is necessary to allow the dentist to remove decay and apply medication to further protect nerve endings. Each filling is shaped and smoothed to ensure the tooth looks and feels authentic.
When you’re young, your face is plump and firm with smooth skin. As you mature, your face begins to lose its firmness, causing folds and wrinkles. Cosmetic fillers can revitalize your appearance by adding volume to your facial structure, allowing your skin to lie smoothly over plump, youthful features.
Injectable implants, or fillers, have been used for many decades. There are many types of fillers, including collagen and synthetic fillers. Most fillers are injected below the skin’s surface to add volume and stimulate the skin’s natural collagen growth, visibly reducing wrinkles and lines, enhancing cheeks, plumping lips, and lifting and smoothing scar depressions. Treatments are done on an outpatient basis.
JUVÉDERM® is a smooth consistency gel made of a higher concentration of cross–linked hyaluronic acid. JUVÉDERM® is highly effective in offering volume and definition to the skin and lips. It is recommended for smoothing away deep wrinkles and smile lines. It can also be used as facial filler to enhance the lips or as a dermal filler for those triangular spaces at the gum line, called gingival embrasure space. Visible results from treatments may last longer than other injectable fillers.
